Version 1.1.0 #
Minor release of Academy & Exam OS for all three editions (Single Site, Multi Site and Reseller / White-Label): PayPal checkout, currency-aware online payments and small wording fixes. It has no database migrations, and the API used by the mobile app stays compatible (contract 1.0.0, with two added order fields). For Single Site and Multi Site, the software licence behaviour is unchanged and existing activations stay valid.
- Online payments — PayPal: students can pay with PayPal beside Stripe and Razorpay. The student approves the payment on PayPal’s page and your server captures it; refunds, verified PayPal webhooks and the worker’s reconciliation work as for the other providers. Configure it under System / Integrations → Payment Configuration (Client ID, Client secret and Webhook ID); see Payments & Orders.
- Currency-aware checkout: a package’s checkout offers only the online methods that accept its currency, and the payment settings warn when an enabled method cannot take a currency you use. Test connection for Stripe also checks which currencies your Stripe account supports and warns, without blocking, about any it does not list.
- New installations: the installer preselects USD; until Payment Configuration is saved, its currency follows the installer’s choice; a new package starts in the site’s currency; the default order of payment methods is Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, offline. Saved settings of an existing installation are never changed.
- Wording: payment-method texts no longer name country-specific methods (offline payments: bank transfer, mobile or wallet payment, cash); the package price help speaks of the smallest currency unit; the Mock Test scoring example is called Negative-marking mock.
- Labels: add and edit pages are headed with one item (for example Add Batch, Edit Homepage Slide); page headings match their menu items (Homepage Slides, Sales Packages, My Purchases); the Communication Hub list shows an announcement’s revision; the AI question drafts form labels its field Syllabus categories; the homepage-slider autoplay setting describes what the site does.
- Reseller / White-Label: the package label shown by the installer and on the About page names no product (Reseller / White-Label package), so a renamed edition shows only its own name; generated configuration headers use your edition’s name.
- Flutter app source: version 1.1.0 (build 4); an order’s details show the payment provider’s name as the website sends it (for example “PayPal”). An app built from 1.0.x source keeps working with a 1.1.0 website, and this app works with 1.0.x websites; rebuilding is optional.
- API: orders and their payments carry
gateway_label, the provider’s display name, andgatewaycan bepaypal.

Version 1.0.2 #
Patch release of Academy & Exam OS for all three editions (Single Site, Multi Site and Reseller / White-Label). It contains only the fixes below: no new features, no database migrations and no change to the API contract used by the mobile app (it remains 1.0.0). For Single Site and Multi Site, the software licence behaviour is unchanged and existing activations stay valid.
- Communication Hub: in Delivery history, View / review opens a delivery outcome again (in 1.0.1 it stopped with a script error), so staff can see the recipient and the outcome history and record an internal review note.
- Website: while no homepage slide, blog post or FAQ is published, the homepage no longer shows an empty hero band or empty Latest from our Blog and Frequently Asked Questions sections; each appears as soon as its first item is published.
- Batches: a teacher’s batch form shows the student and teacher lists read-only, with the note that members are changed by owners and administrators. Member changes typed there by a teacher were never saved.
- Question bank: the editor’s hint says what saving an existing question does: the new draft revision becomes the current revision, and the question is a draft until that revision is approved.
- Labels: the batches page is titled Batches & Enrollment, like its menu item, and the student navigation names the PDF catalogue PDF Courses & Materials. New installations use that name in the default header and footer menus; an updated site keeps its own menu labels.
- Documentation: console commands are written
php bin/cake.php …, the form that runs on every host. The backup, update and folder-permission steps include the uploaded website images (webroot/images/), the security notes separate private files from public website images, and page and menu names match the product. - Installer texts: the site-setup step and the success page name staff menus that exist, and the success page’s backup reminder includes the uploaded website images.
- Single Site and Multi Site: the installer success page names the runnable renewal command,
php bin/cake.php license renew. If you scheduledphp bin/cake license renewfrom an earlier note, change it. - Flutter app source: version 1.0.2 (build 3); the production-profile validator names your website’s bootstrap (
https://your-domain/api/v1/bootstrap) as the source of the deployment ID. An app built from the 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 source keeps working with a 1.0.2 website; rebuilding it is optional.
