About this tutorial #

AI in Academy & Exam OS is optional and uses your own OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude account. Set the provider, model and API key (stored encrypted, never shown again), a monthly usage limit and timeout, test and enable it; draft questions for staff review; then configure AI Generated MCQ Practice and generate, resume and submit a practice set as a student.

What you will learn #

  • AI is optional: everything else works without a provider
  • AI Provider settings: provider, model, masked API key stored encrypted, monthly usage limit, request timeout
  • Test connection (no questions generated) and enabling AI
  • AI Question Drafts: topic brief, review flags, accepting drafts into the question bank as draft questions
  • AI Generated MCQ Practice: per-student limits, practice profiles, +4 / −1 marking and package eligibility
  • The student flow: profile, subject, chapter, difficulty, 10 or 25 questions and the error acknowledgement
  • Validated sets, save and resume, Submit practice, answer review and question reports
  • Privacy: only the application’s brief is sent to the provider, never student personal data
