How to read your salon’s reports

2 min read

Reports shows one month of your salon in numbers: every appointment that starts in that month, in your salon’s time zone. It opens on the current month. Use ‹ Previous month and Next month › to move between months, up to the current one.

What it shows #

  • Appointments — how many start this month, by status: booked, confirmed, arrived, in progress, completed, no-show, cancelled. Holds that were never paid are not counted.
  • Cancellations and no-shows — cancelled by the client and by the salon, how many came after your free-cancellation time (the deposit kept), the no-shows, and what share of the month’s appointments they make together.
  • Staff — for each staff member, their appointments, their booked time (each service’s own time; a processing gap is free; no-shows count, as the time was kept for them), their working time that month (after closures, breaks, time off and one-off changes), and how much of it was booked.
  • Services — how often each service was booked, completed and cancelled, the most booked first.
  • Deposits — for this month’s appointments: Paid online, Kept (late cancellations and no-shows), Refunds to make and Refunded. Refunds are made under Payments → Orders (see Deposits and paying at the salon).
  • Text messages — how many went out this month, how many segments, and what they cost at the price you entered in your SMS setup.

Someone who may not see the staff’s working hours sees “—” for working time.

What is not here #

  • The shop’s sales are under Shop → Shop reports (see The shop).
  • The money taken and refunded day by day is in the owner’s morning e-mail (see The owner’s daily summary) and under Payments → Orders.
  • This page has no download in this version.

Who sees it #

Reports are the owner’s. To let your manager / front desk see them, give the role See reports under People → Roles and permissions.
