The first version of Salon Booking OS by OsDotâ„¢.
- Installation: a browser installer that checks your server, creates the database tables and the owner account, asks about your salon and the website’s theme, lists the scheduled tasks to add, and then locks itself.
- Your salon: the location, business hours, closures and holidays; staff members with their working hours, breaks and time off; a services catalogue with processing gaps, preparation and clean-up time, options, prices and deposit rules.
- The front desk: the calendar by day and by week, desk and phone bookings, walk-ins, the end-of-day list, call-backs, and “My day” for each staff member.
- Online booking on your website, once you turn it on: clients choose a service, a staff member and a time, confirm with a code sent by e-mail, and change or cancel within your rules.
- Payments through your own Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay account: deposits for online bookings and shop orders, payments taken at the salon, refunds and reconciliation.
- A shop for the products you sell, collected at the salon, delivered locally or shipped, with stock and returns.
- Messages: confirmations, changes, cancellations, reminders and receipts by e-mail, and optional text messages and push notices through your own provider accounts; the owner’s daily summary.
- Clients: client records, a client’s data download, and deletion requests.
- Your website: three themes — Linen, Onyx and Bloom — each in Light and Dark, with pages, a blog, questions, the team and legal pages.
- Your team: each team member’s own sign-in, with a role whose permissions the owner sets.
- A REST API (version 1) for integrations and for the customer app, whose source comes with the product.
No database changes to apply: this is the first version. Install it with the browser installer.
