The branding guide for resellers
Each business's branding is set in its administration area by the owner. Nothing in the source needs to change.
Logo and site icon #
Under Website → Brand:
| Picture | Where it shows | Good file |
|---|---|---|
| The logo | the website's header and the top of the business's e-mails | a PNG with a transparent background (up to 4 MB, up to 4096 px on its longest side), wide rather than tall and readable at 40 px high |
| The logo for dark backgrounds | the same places on a dark background (a dark theme, Dark mode) | the same logo in light colours |
| The site icon (favicon) | the browser tab and bookmarks, and a phone's home screen | a square PNG of 512 × 512 px (up to 1 MB) |
Until a site icon is chosen, the website shows the default icon.
Colours, theme and mode #
Under Appearance, choose the theme (Anchor, Sunrise or Coral), the colour mode (following the visitor's device, or always Light or Dark), the brand colours for Light and for Dark, the fonts and the motion level. Preview on the website shows a change before visitors see it. See the Appearance chapter.
The app's icon and name #
The app's icon is part of its build (the android/ and ios/ projects of the app source, which carry the app's own neutral icon), its name comes from the production profile's SITE_NAME. See the app source's README-BUILD.html ("Your own app icon").
Pictures on the website #
Slides, service and shop pictures are uploaded by the business under Website and Appearance → Images. Use pictures you have the right to use. Pictures carry no words or logos: the page's own text is laid over them.
