Handyman Booking OS system requirements

The installer checks your server on its requirements page before it installs anything, and names anything missing.

1. PHP 8.3 or 8.4 (the certified PHP series). On any other series the installer shows a warning, and you continue at your own risk.
2. MySQL 8.4, or MySQL 8.0.19 or later, or MariaDB 11.4 or 11.8. This release was tested on MySQL 8.4, MariaDB 11.4 and MariaDB 11.8. It needs MySQL 8.0.19 or later even where the installer accepts an older 8.0 version; other MariaDB versions were not tested with this release.
3. An empty database and a database user for it.
4. HTTPS.
5. URL rewriting (.htaccess).
6. A scheduled task (cron) for the site's regular work. Some hosts need the PHP program's full path in the cron line in place of php — for example /opt/alt/php83/usr/bin/php or /usr/local/bin/ea-php83; your host's control panel or help pages name it.
7. The PHP extensions intl, mbstring, pdo_mysql, openssl, sodium, curl, json, ctype, fileinfo and gd.
8. PHP memory (memory_limit) of 256 MB is recommended; 128 MB works.
9. PHP max_execution_time: at least 120 seconds during installation.
