How to white-label Handyman Booking OS
The Reseller / White-Label edition lets you deliver Handyman Booking OS by OsDotâ„¢ to your clients under your own name (see RESELLER-LICENSE.html). There are three layers of naming, and each lives in its own place.
1. The product's name: config/product.php #
Web/config/product.php names the software itself. The installer, System → About this software and the administration area's header read it. Change these values before you install for a client:
| Key | What it is | Rule |
|---|---|---|
name | the product's name, for example "Home Repairs Booking by Your Agency" | any text |
publisher | your business's name | any text |
website, website_url | your website, shown as the publisher's site | website_url must start with https:// |
Leave version and slug as they are: the installer and the update checks rely on them.
config/product.php is part of every update package. After each update, put your values back (keep a copy of your edited file), then reload the administration area to check the name.
2. The business's own name and look #
Each business's name, logo, colours and website are its own settings, made in the administration area — no file to edit:
- System → Website settings: the business's name, currency and time zone, and the public "Powered by OsDot™" footer link (on or off).
- Website → Brand: the logo, the logo for dark backgrounds and the site icon (see
BRANDING-GUIDE.html). - Appearance: the theme (Anchor, Sunrise or Coral), Light or Dark, colours and motion.
The "Powered by OsDotâ„¢" line in the administration area's footer stays in every edition.
3. The app #
Your client's app is built from the app source in its own folder (README-BUILD.html there). Its name, brand key, application ID and address come from the production profile the build uses, and its icon from the platform projects (README-BUILD.html: "Your own app icon"). Each client's app is published under that client's (or your) own store account.
A white-label checklist per client #

- Work through Get started with your client.
- Build and publish the client's app, if they have one (section 3).
